Sidebar Automations

Besides channel settings, Kazenly exposes a top-level Automations section in the Unified Inbox sidebar. Use it to build and manage automations without digging through Settings.

Your role must include access to Automations (see chapter 16).

Where to Find It

In the sidebar, open Automations. It expands to:

Sub-itemRouteChannel
Instagram/automations/instagramInstagram
WhatsApp/automations/whatsappWhatsApp

Bare links default to Instagram first in the menu order; both are first-class entry points.

Instagram Automations

Subtitle: Turn comments and DMs into conversations — fast setup or visual flow builder.

When Instagram is connected, you can:

  • Click New Automation to start from scratch
  • Pick a Quick Automations template for a fast setup
  • Switch to Builder for a visual flow editor
  • Manage existing automations (activate, edit, delete)

If Instagram is not connected, a banner asks you to connect in Settings → Instagram before creating automations.

For comment keywords, DM keywords, public replies, and follow-gate detail, see Instagram Comment and DM Automations (10.5).

WhatsApp Automations

This workspace hosts the modern create/edit experience for bot flows. The page notes that classic editing also lives under Settings → Bot Flows — use whichever surface you prefer.

When WhatsApp is not connected, a banner points to Settings → WhatsApp. You can still manage flow drafts, but live bot traffic requires a connected channel.

For starting a flow from a chat, default flows, and escalation, see Bot Flows (10.1) · Start a Bot Flow from a Chat (10.2) · Escalation Keywords (10.4).
