Send to Webhook

Send to Webhook is a Bot Flow step that POSTs selected conversation fields to an HTTPS URL you configure under Settings → Integrations. The bot continues immediately — it does not wait for your server to reply.

This is separate from Meta WhatsApp Flows (forms under Broadcasts → Flows).

Before you start

  1. Create a Webhook (Send to Webhook) integration — see Integrations.
  2. Copy the signing secret when it is shown (once), then confirm I've copied it — Done.
  3. Leave Allow contact phone in webhook payloads off unless you need the phone number and have customer consent.

Add the step

  1. Open Settings → Bot Flows or Automations → WhatsApp.
  2. Edit a bot flow and add a step of type Send to Webhook.
  3. Expand Data leaves Kazenly to read the warning: you are responsible for consent and sub-processor disclosure. Kazenly cannot delete data from your destination. Phone numbers are included only when the integration has Allow phone enabled (off by default).

Destination

Choose Webhook integration (HTTPS integrations of type Webhook). If the list is empty, create one under Settings → Integrations.

Payload

OptionBehaviour
Send full contextSends answer fields plus safe context keys. Secrets, engine bookkeeping, and phone are stripped unless the integration allows phone.
Fields to include (when full context is off)Tap chips for answer fields from an earlier Send WhatsApp Flow step. Place that step before this one to populate the list.

Contact fields

Optional section Contact fields — tick contact field definitions to include their values in the webhook payload. Leave unchecked to omit. Sensitive fields show a Sensitive badge; only include values you are allowed to send. Empty: No contact field definitions yet. Define fields under Contact Fields.

Static custom fields

Use Add field for step-level tags (for example a fixed source name). These are not stored on the integration.

After the step runs

The bot moves to the next step without waiting for your webhook. Delivery is best-effort to your URL over HTTPS and signed so you can verify the request came from Kazenly.
