Assigned
Sidebar Inbox → Assigned opens /inbox/assigned. Bare /inbox redirects here — it is the default Inbox tab.
The list header reads Assigned to Me with a count in parentheses.
What Appears Here
Assigned shows open conversations currently assigned to you (the signed-in agent). Expired threads do not appear in Inbox tabs.
Each row shows the contact name, channel, last message preview, assignment caption (your name or Bot if mis-assigned), and optional Pending or Queued hints.
Use this tab for your primary day-to-day queue when you prefer sidebar navigation over Dashboard filter chips.
Assigned vs Dashboard Assigned Chip
Both views list threads assigned to you:
| Inbox → Assigned | Dashboard → Assigned | |
|---|---|---|
| Route | /inbox/assigned | /dashboard |
| Navigation | Dedicated sidebar tab | Chip in one list header |
| Grouping | Optional Arrange groups | Flat chip filters only |
The underlying conversations are the same; pick whichever layout fits your workflow.
Row Labels
| Label on row | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Last message was from bot or agent — waiting on the customer (see Open, Pending, Queued, Expired) |
| Queued | Also in the escalation queue — open Queued tab or use Take It (see Queued) |
| Agent name | Who owns the thread (should be you on this tab) |
Tips
- Combine with All / WhatsApp / Instagram channel chips to focus one channel.
- Use Search conversations… to find a name or snippet quickly (Search and Arrange).
- Switching to another Inbox tab clears the open chat on desktop until you select a row again.
