Plan Does Not Include WhatsApp
Connect WhatsApp is gated by your Kazenly subscription. If WhatsApp is not on your plan, or billing blocks the channel, the Settings → WhatsApp page shows a banner and disables connect actions.
WhatsApp Connect Is Not Available
A red banner at the top of the connection card reads:
WhatsApp Connect is not available
The detail line depends on subscription state:
| Situation | Message theme |
|---|---|
| Trial or plan without this channel | Your trial or plan does not include this channel. Upgrade on the billing page. |
| Subscription ended | Your subscription has ended. Add a channel plan to reconnect. |
Click Manage billing / Add channel in the banner (opens your Account Dashboard billing area on kazenly.com).
The Connect WhatsApp button stays disabled while connect is not allowed.
You may also see an inline error if you attempt connect:
WhatsApp Connect is not available for your plan. Manage billing to add WhatsApp.
Payment Past Due
If WhatsApp is still entitled but payment is overdue, you may see an amber banner instead:
Payment past due
Update your payment method to keep WhatsApp Connect available after the grace period.
Use Update payment method in that banner.
Connect may still work during the grace period; resolve billing before access is removed.
Manage Billing Link
Below the connection card, Manage billing opens the same billing destination in a new tab — useful when you need invoices or plan changes without hunting the banner link.
Unified plans on Kazenly typically bundle WhatsApp + Instagram; upgrading often unlocks both channel Connect tabs in Settings.
What Still Works
Entitlement gates Connect buttons — not necessarily the entire inbox.
Depending on configuration, agents may still open Inbox and view historical WhatsApp threads even when Connect is blocked. New Meta provisioning requires an entitled plan.
For channel setup at account level, see Account Dashboard (chapter 18) — Set up Inbox and Open Inbox happen there; Connect WhatsApp happens in inbox Settings.
